The Museum of sport was a host to the representatives of the Universeum, an European network of academic heritage. The president, Dr Sofia Talas and secretary general, Dr Sebastien Soubiran have visited Belgrade in the beginning of April. The Museum of sport has been a member of this unique network since 2014 and as for now, is the only university museum of sport. Thus we were pleased to bring other Belgrade University collections together in order to present common academic heritage. Therefore Universeum representatives have also visited the Geological , Paleontological and Mineralogical collections belonging to the Faculty of mining and geology, The Museum of Chemistry that is housed by the Faculty of Chemistry and Archaeological collection within the Faculty of Philosophy. The vice rector dr Ivanka Popovic has welcomed our guests with words of encouragement and support for our efforts to preserve and present European academic heritage including those of Belgrade University.
