Greetings from the ANSO Secretariat! We hope this notice finds you and your family well.

As you might be aware, the Chinese people and government are fighting against a public health incident caused by the novel coronavirus. We believe that the situation will be under control eventually with the endeavor of the Chinese people as well as the support we received from international friends like you. Thanks a lot!

The ANSO Secretariat has been working on pushing forward ANSO activities to achieve our common goal. This time I am writing to invite you to recommend excellent postgraduate students to apply for the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents. The ANSO Scholarship provides young students worldwide an opportunity to study in the CAS education system (including USTC, UCAS, and CAS institutes around China).

We design the recommendation mechanism for ANSO members to recommend competitive students to apply for this scholarship. In general, each ANSO member can recommend up to 4 candidates (masters and PhDs in total). USTC/UCAS will conduct a merit-based evaluation.

Recommendation from ANSO members would be a plus in the admission.

The deadline for submitting Recommendation Forms to us is 7TH MAY 2020 (a week after the application deadline for students).
